"Challenging and rewarding"

Anna Maria Torriglia, student from Italy

Great teachers, classrooms at times small, but the number of students was also small, and this is a plus for learning.
The location is great, in a neighborhood brimming with life, small coffe places, spots to eat a lot of different kinds of food, plus close to the metro station and underground markets. I appreciated the kindness of the staff and, again, the front desk people were always ready to help. The general atmosphere was friendly and easy going, but not laid back. I was literally plunged into Hangul. Though I barely knew how to read and write Hangul, the pace of teaching was really fast. I think it's a praxis which compels you to do your best: further, to repeat the class until you know the material is a good praxis. The activities proposed were funny and entertaining. On the overall it has been a very positive experience, which I recommend. Of course, if one wants to improve his/her knowledge of the language has to study hard.

"Other countries other living conditions"

Marion Holzeder-Finn, student from Germany

The staff at the language school were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I was booked for a course that did not take place on site. However, I was offered an alternative that was fine with me. The accommodation was a disaster. I went to a hotel at my own expense. I was offered a new accommodation after a few days, which was definitely clean.

"Intensive learning in a friendly setting"

Sarah Kresberg, student from USA

The Busan branch of Lexis Korea is located in a central area. It is easy to reach and there are lots of places to eat at lunch time. the staff at the reception desk are exceptionally helpful. One staff member helped us book a train ticket and even loaned us the money because my credit card wasn't being accepted. I mostly enjoyed class. My teacher introduced some activities such as testing and comparing snacks, which made class more interactive than I have experienced learning Korean before.

My main complaint was that the class moved an an extremely fast pace and the teacher taught to the students who were at the top of the class and about to move up. Instructions were given verbally and quickly in Korean, one time only. I had learned all the grammar points before and still had trouble keeping up! I took the same level class (Elementary) at Lexis in Seoul last year and the instructor made sure everyone understood activities before starting them so this extremely fast pace was the style of this particular instructor.

What made this all the more frustrating was that my children were in the beginner class which was way too easy for them. They were definitely ready for the grammar and vocabulary in the elementary class but I knew they wouldn't be able to keep up.

"Exciting experience without using native language"

Mayumi Ohi, student from Japan

Everything was perfect.
The ratio of nationality was especially good.
And I think it was best point that I could always communicate with other students using Korean and English without the opportunity to speak my native language.

"Great"

Ai Miura, student from Japan

It was an easy environment to ask questions with a small number of people.
Students and teachers often talked to us, I had a good time even in a short period.
I could only do it for a week, but if the company was not convenient, I think that I went through all the time.
The location is also easy to go near the West station,
It was an environment that was easy to operate after school.
I do not know that there is activity every day after school
It was a shame that I could not participate.

If the opportunity shows itself, I would like to study again at Lexis Korea,
To those who are planning to study abroad and study abroad in the future, I definitely would like to recommend it.
In an environment where Japanese and Japanese are few
If someone wants to study, I would definitely recommend studying at Lexis Korea.
