This intensive IELTS preparation course will cover all the elements of the exam (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Specific focus will be give to the parts of the exam that the student finds most difficult. Guidance will be given by the teacher on exam technique and the methods required to pass the exam. A strong focus will be on preparing the student for what to expect during the exam.

Dates, times and locations of the course are flexible as the course is 1 to 1.

English in Newcastle is a language school for the 21st century. There is no physical school building and all the lessons take place with a private teacher at a location that is convenient for the teacher and the student. Located in the Northern English city of Newcastle, students can mix their English language education with a holiday or sightseeing around the wonderful city of Newcastle or even sample the surrounding countryside in Northumberland.

There are no groups at English in Newcastle, all the learning is face to face with a private teacher, the classes are 1 to 1. However, students who want to get together with friends or family can take classes together with their teacher in a small 'closed-group'. This method of learning represents excellent value for money and enables students to make much quicker progress with their language as the lessons are completely focused on the needs of the student in the lesson.

English in Newcastle offers intensive courses where students can study every day or less intensive courses where students study a few hours a week. The number of hours per week spent on the course are completely the choice of the student and can be decided in advance of arriving in Newcastle.

Our teachers can also travel to the nearby cities of Durham and Sunderland to take classes if students are located in these cities.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue documents to support your visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a visitor or tourist visa on your own.
