Proficiency in the English language is important to ensure you are successful at work or in your business. The EMS English for Work (EFW) is specifically designed to enable you to develop and improve the English language skills and approaches needed for various work and business situations and requirements. It is a specialised programme which differs from General English as it provides English coaching which targets the language used in the world of work and business.
Here at EMS Language Centre, we offer English for Work (EFW) to help students increase their chances of getting a job both locally and internationally, or simply to improve their business communication skills in English. Our team of highly experienced teachers provide expert coaching on how to speak and write appropriately, concisely and effectively at the workplace or in the business arena, covering a broad range of topics.
The course offers interactive activities, tasks and assignments aimed at increasing awareness of tone and style in various contexts such as meetings, presentations and networking opportunities. In order to do this, we use role plays, case studies and your own personal experiences.
What can you expect to learn on the course?
This is a comprehensive course that addresses many aspects of business, enabling you to learn and practise specific skills needed to:
- Introduce your company and your role
- Make arrangements, suggestions and requests
- Write effective emails and reports
- Negotiate contracts, schedules or pricing
Our qualified and experienced native and non-native-speaking teachers deliver two-hour daily lessons at EMS.

Its parent company, Citinetics Sdn. Bhd. which became known as Tetuan Citinetics Sdn. Bhd. in 2011, has been a prominent player in the educational field and a strong proponent of lifelong learning for many years. Since 2003, Citinetics Sdn. Bhd.has been opening up pathways to learning, organizing and managing classes, workshops, seminars, and degree programs for vocational purposes in Kuala Lumpur.
EMS language center was set up in response to the increasing demand for English language training within the region. At the core, if its operation is the push to make learning English simple, offering opportunities for everyone to acquire and master the use of the English Language locally and internationally in the most efficient and stimulating way. It aims to inspire success in individuals looking to upgrade their English language skills and meet their academic and real-life expectations.
EMS is a professional English language centre in bustling Kuala Lumpur, offering the highest academic standards in learning. We provide English courses to meet different learning goals and aspirations in efficient and enjoyable ways in multi-cultural Malaysia.
The nationality and age mix at English Made SimpleLanguage Centre varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 19. In the summer, the average age is 14.

EMS Language Centre is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. It is located near the Petronas twin towers.
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
