How we Teach:
English language teaching at International House Sydney is based on Communicative Language Teaching methodology. The central principles that surround this approach to language teaching are based on students being very active and engaged in the classroom. Lessons are ‘student-centred’, allowing students to participate fully and discover English with their teacher facilitating this process. For learning to be successful, students must be motivated, and by encouraging and engaging our students, we achieve very positive learning outcomes.

Studying at International House was really great. My teacher was amazing as well as every other staff member at both locations I went too. Big recommendation. The Campus at Clearence street sadly was a little small and seemed quite old but the one at George St. was really new and very comfortable.

It was so much fun and my English has gotten really good in the last few weeks. The other teachers were also very nice. I was able to learn very well in the classrooms and I also liked the break room with the table tennis table was very cool. But sometimes the rackets and balls just disappeared because someone had taken them.
My classmates were OK. I would have liked everyone to speak English to each other. Since that wasn't the case sometimes, I often couldn't understand some of them. In some other classes, English was spoken even less to each other. I would also have liked all the students to treat each other with more respect. I think this is a language school where you go to everyone tries to speak English as well as possible and doesn't distract others and prevent them from learning. The location was very easy to reach. Town hall is a very accessible station. In general I found the language school good.
I really liked coming to this school because I really understood that how the Italian school teaches English is totally wrong. I really liked the fact that every time I entered the classroom the teacher asked me how I was, something that no teacher in Italy does. ago.I really liked the fact that they listened to us a lot and we spent a lot of time talking together, thanks to this I managed to make friends that I will remember forever.

Location is good, it’s in the center of city, so convenient.
I was taught by two teachers. Both of them were quite dedicated and taught in quite effective way for students.
Also receptionists, who support students daily administration, were so kind and proper.
I found this school on Language International website, but I found some of the information on the websites is not the latest.
I would recommend to contact the school for the latest information.
