Cambridge Preparation
These courses are designed to help students who already have a good foundation in English to push themselves further. Focussed around the Cambridge First, Advanced and Proficiency exams, they will help you improve every aspect of your English proficiency- and get you ready to work, study abroad or be ready for a future which needs English skills! The Cambridge First, Advanced and Proficiency are awarded by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, UK and are recognised all over the world.
During a Cambridge Preparation course, you will:
Increase your fluency in English, by learning about differences in grammar and sentence structure
Improve your English skills in speaking, writing, reading and listening
Refine your test taking skills with weekly practice tests
Be able to understand more of the English around you, both what you see and hear
Have a wider vocabulary in English, and be able to use it on familiar topics.
Listening, Speaking, Pronunciation, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary and Grammar

The nationality and age mix at International House Brisbane - ALS varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 21. In the summer, the average age is 21.
ALS does not hold classes on the holiday dates below. The school does not compensate for these holidays, so make sure to choose your start date accordingly.
Our school is located in the heart of Brisbane, close enough for students to be able to access all of the food courts and services that Brisbane CBD has.
The location of the school I chose is really convenient, 5 mins walk to bus station and train station. Although the class itself is not exciting as I am doing preparation of ielts, teacher has tried a funny way to make the class less boring and show us a lot of skill for the test
