Course description

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:

SGIC Admission Test or Completed English High Intermediate Level at SGIC or TOEFL iBT 79 and up / IELTS 6+ ( Oral Test Required)

DURATION:

2 semesters (each semester takes 80 hrs)

COURSE OUTCOME:

Students learn a lot of useful idioms an vocabulary used in different topics of world issues. The emphasis is equally given to all four aspects: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. The course also prepares students who want to take the exam for the certification in Translation / Interpretation, approved by Canadian Government or American ILTI.

COURSE ADVANTAGE:

1. Professional bilingual instructors offer Korean students the basic principles and techniques of translation.

2. The course is designed to enrich students knowledge of writing techniques and applying them to interpreting and translating texts.

3. A rich variety of texts and genres will be translated into English in class and at home.

4. Personalized counselling to discuss individual progress is available weekly.

All homes are in close proximity to the subway station, our efficient and safe transit system.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged C$ 100 when you register.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Toronto based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
