"Personally, what I really appreciated was on the first day of class when the teacher realized that the class was too low-level for me. They suggested I try the upper level, which turned out to be much better suited for me. It's clear that they truly care about your learning experience. The teachers and staff are incredibly kind and accommodating, welcoming individuals from diverse cultures and nationalities. The location is fantastic, with plenty of charming local cafes, and the college provides convenient access to parking areas."

First of all, it was good to meet good friends.
It was a little uncomfortable not to receive support for parking.
We were assigned a new classroom and felt frustrated because it was too small.
There were some teachers who fit me well, but there were others who didn't fit me well.
Still, I had a lot of fun experiences while attending this school.
I realized how bad I was in English and was motivated to try.
Thank you for everything.
Class is good! And classmates are kind! But I don’t really like how to teach of teachers.

I really like my student friends, but it's unpleasant and difficult to focus when a small room is extremely crowded (which doesn't always happen). Regarding the teachers, I think we have had much better ones at American Communication, one of them for example at least knows how to explain the material clearly and feels uncomfortable and irritated when questioned. Overall, I love and am treated very well by everyone who works at CWC.

All teachers are very qualified and friendly who loves what they do.The activities for a students were funny and coolness. In a year and a half of my study, my level has improved, for which I am grateful to my teachers and all the staff of the college for their patience and good attitude.

Every month CWC organizes different activities, that’s a big plus.

I take ESL class in the morning and have 3 teachers. Every teacher has their own character and teaching skills, and I enjoy all lessons. In addition, it seems that the lessons continue evolving to meet student needs. Although only 3 weeks have passed since I enrolled in CWC, I believe I can improve my English here!!
Moreover, CWC often offers a variety of activities. It's also one of the recommendations I can share.
The classes has many students who come form various countries. We not only learn English, but we also get to interact with people from various countries and learn about their cultures, which is a lot of fun !The teachers are so friendly and easily to ask questions! There are a lot of time to speek in classes.

It is a good experience to study here. I've met international students from all over the world.
The teachers intend to teach, but the problem is that the students are too chill . If they need to improve their English , they have to talk more in the classroom.

If i back to last year, i definitely recommend CWC. Because, each student is closely attended in studying, not only for the improvement of English but nurturing mind to respect others with the joy of communication.
Thank always.
I enjoy studying here. Staffs are friendly, and the teachers are incredible. Before I came here, I could barely speak English, but after 6 months at CWC, I feel my English has improved a lot. I can hold a long conversation with native speakers, and my TOEFL score was above 90, So that I could get in the MBA program. Thanks CWC.

Every month, they held a different event, and in order to learn English, they were able to learn from many different countries to exchange culture and emotions with each other, and teachers were also very kind and tried to teach them knowledge.

This school's students' age average is probably a little higher than other language schools, there were many adult students. Some students are living in US for a while, so I was able to learn a lot of living tips in US from my classmates.
I liked the classes are divided to Grammar, Reading and Writing, and Listening and Speaking for each level because I was able to see which part, I am doing good/bad. I eventually transferred to community college, then university. And sometime, I recalled the writing technic, or some US history events we discussed as class topic in CWC. Those are very helpful during learning in college.
And many activities provided by the school! Those were very fun and good memories that is my treasure.
I started studying English in CWC from level3, and I felt it was great to start with correct level. I wasn't that good in English so I needed the class that suits me, and CWC put me in right class. Teachers were truly awesome and they taught me and classmates sincerely. I really liked the conversation class which was not a regular class. I'm really sure that because of that conversation class, my talking skill got improved. I appreciate Liz who was our conversation class teacher. I still remember teachers name: Tim, Christopher, Liz, etc. :P CWC's location was quite good because it is in the middle of Korea Town so even I didn't have a car, I was able to go to CWC with the bicycle. There are too many good thing that I experienced such as Thanks giving day, Halloween, Christmas etc. I could see how CWC tried to make activities fun, and I was touched by those events because anyway all of students were just people who were from other countries so even holiday came, most of them didn't really have any plans to celebrate. However, because CWC made special holiday events, students could enjoys the USA's holidays and it was really fun. I don't think I can write down clearly until the end so anyway I enjoyed my US life in L.A and in CWC!

Show details » Read more...My experience at CWC was very pleasant. I started my English from the scratch and today I’m doing a MBA in business! I never imagined this would be possible. I always wanted to speak English, but I didn't enjoy learning. At Columbia I learned to take pleasure in learning! Because the teachers are excellent, nice and friendly!. They always willing to teach and go beyond classes. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy. I loved the extra curricular activities. My favorite was book club it helped me a lot in the evolution of English! At Columbia I always had help with everything I needed! Whether in the administration part or to the teachers! I just have to thank CWC for everything I learned and for everything that lives there!

And having some school activities were also nice, I enjoyed a Halloween party a lot. Costume, pumpkin carving, food. In Japan people don’t have party so it was a fresh experience for me. Thanksgiving party was also nice.
Location was not bad, however I often met the people who act strange. And one time I saw the road burning.
If the location is more better, Japanese rich people will come I guess lol
When i started to study at CWC, I couldn't even introduce myself.
But all of teachers did their best to teach me and have me to be confident.
Everyday they gave me some easy questions before the class, that was really helpful way for beginners
Activities are also great. Every week there are new activities for understanding American cultures such as Halloween, Thanksgiving day.
That was great experience i never forget
In my personal experience, I liked the teachers at CWC for be dynamic to allow students understand the topic of each class easily such as play games, debates, work in group, etc. I like the location at CWC because in this place has a lot of coffee shop then it could allow the students for having more option to decided was to eat or drink. Also, it was interesting for having free activities to let the student meet each other better and at the time to enjoy the moment. Something that I liked more about CWC was I met a lot of friend and I learned various culture from different counties. And, something that I did not like about CWC was the teacher should afford the students who are shy to speak more because the idea to study English is to communicate and should not let the students maintaining as mute.
