Course times: MON and WED or TUE and THU 6-7.30 p.m.; other times possible if agreed before the course begins.
Flexible course entry: a beginner course starts every 1-2 months. Students with previous knowledge can join existing courses all year round and flexibly. If no course or course place is currently available at your level, we will start a new group, even if there are fewer than 3 participants. In this case, the number of teaching units offered will be adjusted: with 2 people 2/3 of the booked teaching units will be held, with only 1 person 1/3.
Learning material: 1 book incl. if needed
Highlights: The main focus in this course is on speaking and improving communication skills; you learn the language (writing, reading, speaking) in a structured way. The small group enables you to speak a lot yourself and to practice the language. The diagram shows the active speaking time in a small group of 5 compared to 10 students. What you learn can be used immediately in real life.

I liked my class very much. I now have many more friends from other countries. My teacher, Karin, was excellent; serious in teaching, but funny at the same moment.
The other girls among the staff were funny and excellent, too.
I liked the location in nature and all the activities; in particular the swimming pool.
I also liked the food even if it was different from that of my mom's.
The levels of those in the class were not equal to each other. In the same class, there were people whose levels were very low, and they attracted more attention since the teacher had to explain to them the easy things. Also, when I wanted to answer, the teacher stopped me and instead spoke to the poor students. I wonder why I had an entry test. The teachers don't have special education, they started classes 5 - 7 minutes later and finished 5 - 7 minutes earlier. The tape recorder was very low, and the chalk for the blackboard was used up. In reality I got only 14 hours a week instead of what was promised.
The location was good, activities were good, but the housing was bad. The hostess didn't talk to me at all, and everything that my mother was afraid of had occurred. Even at breakfast, I was alone. The breakfast was very poor and I didn't get yogurt and juice for my two last days, only tea, 2 slices of cheese, and bread. Is this normal? I wonder how much my breakfast cost in reality?
German is not simple, but the school is very friendly, the teachers are nice, the host family was super!
At the end I found a job and I will live here for the coming months for sure.
