The popular resort of Torquay in South Devon is located in one of the UK’s most beautiful regions. Attracting around four million visitors annually, the area’s warm microclimate, clean golden beaches, stunning coastal walks, tropical palm trees and stylish marinas have earned it the name of the English Riviera. The town is also well known as the birthplace of Agatha Christie. The surrounding countryside (Dartmoor National Park) is renowned for its beauty and is ideal for walks. Students are drawn here by the relaxed, welcoming and safe atmosphere, the beach life and variety of sports on offer.
My highest appreciation goes to the teaching. And that's why I chose to go to England during my holiday. The atmosphere in the school was prima. The staff was gentle an helpful.
I personally enjoyed the local museum with an excellent exhibition about Agatha Christie. If someone could send me the text on the main panels of the exposition, I would appreciate that very much.( if necessary , I'll pay for it )Good for the enrichment of my English and ,in addition to that,as a psychiatrist I am interested in the curriculum vitae of important people, especially their childhood. In that same museum I bought an interesting booklet on Charles Darwin. Both are local celebrities.
