The intensive course includes six group lessons a day. In addition to regular group classes in the morning which give students the opportunity to learn the grammar and practice the four key language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) while interacting in a small group environment, this course offers an additional two group classes in the afternoon that focus on providing students with practical experience and a focus on writing and speaking in everyday situations. Students will earn beyond the specific content of their level's curriculum and focus on real communication and situational context.

The vibrant Jing’an district, where our Mandarin school is located, is the central commercial business district on Puxi side of Shanghai (the west side of Huangpu River that divides Shanghai into two parts). Jing'an is filled with shopping malls, fashionable boutiques, modern office buildings, fine hotels and restaurants, exhibitions and upscale residential complexes in addition to having an extremely vibrant nightlife scene. On foot, the school is 10 minutes from city's renowned shopping avenue West Nanjing Road and Jing'an Temple commercial area, and 15 minutes away from popular bar street Tongren Road with a plethora of stores, supermarkets, theaters, Chinese and foreign restaurants (Italian, French, Spanish, American, Japanese, Korean, Thai...), cafes and cinemas in the vicinity. There are two metro stops within minutes walking distance, Changping Road on line 7, and Jing'an Temple on line 2 and 7. Buses in front of school go directly to People's Square, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Art Gallery, Pudong and more. Thanks to the numerous means of public transport serving the area, it is possible to reach the most famous and important places of Shanghai in just a few minutes.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged $100 when you register.
