Course description

This online course is for students who want to improve their language learning and proficiency while working or doing another course of study.

The course aims to develop one's:
• listening and reading skills to understand the main points;
• writing skills especially for academic work; and
• critical thinking skills.

Students will be expected to complete work given to them ahead of the online session. The online session will focus on reviewing and checking understanding, and language practice.

The Language House (TLH) is located in bustling Petaling Jaya, adjacent to Malaysia's capital Kuala Lumpur. The school's superb location and its wide variety of courses make it an ideal location to study languages.
Students can choose from general English courses, IELTS preparation courses, or executive courses. We offer both in-person and online courses.

It is a 10-minute walk away to Asia Jaya LRT station where trains provide convenient travel to Kuala Lumpur and other suburbs beyond Petaling Jaya.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged $25 when you register.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Petaling Jaya based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
