Course description

The half-time group course is for students who want to maximize their language learning practice during their stay in Cusco, Peru. The courses focus heavily on speaking, communication skills, and grammar. These lessons provide the opportunity to learn the local culture and customs. The classes stress the use of language in everyday situations. Textbooks and a variety of other materials are used in instruction, including role-playing, newspapers, magazines and other materials. It is 10 hours per week with a maximum of 4 people.

Homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the local Peruvian culture in a comfortable setting while studying Spanish in Cusco, Peru. These homes are often between 20-25 minutes away from the school by walking and approximately 5-10 minutes by public transport. Families usually offer affordable meal plans that allow you to sample the local cuisine. If you have special requests or diet restrictions (because of religion or health reasons), please let us know in advance. Students can arrive at their homestay families anytime as long as Proyecto Peru is informed of their arrival information.

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

Your letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.

Flights and airport transfer

Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Cusco based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
