Taronja School
The course is designed for students wanting to push their Spanish learning to the limits while they stay in Valencia. The course consists of 4 daily lessons of intensive course, 1 daily lesson focused on conversation and 1 daily private lesson.
The multilevel conversation workshop is focused on discussing and learning Spanish topical issues with an intercultural approach, while working at the same time the opinion structures, expanding vocabulary and improving oral expression and interaction in a practical and interactive way. The Spanish teacher steers the conversation, encourages the group and corrects the errors of each student. It is a multilevel course.
The daily individual class is tailor-made; our teaching team adapts to the personal needs of each student, strengthening their knowledge, helping to resolve doubts they may have, practicing knowledge they have already acquired in the intensive course, or perfecting any specific aspect of the Spanish language. It can also be used for exam preparation, e.g. DELE and SIELE exams for which Taronja is an official exam center.
MULTI-LEVEL Thanks to this method, students of different levels interact and collaborate together. Students
will practice the structures they know, guided by an expert teacher, working at their own pace to improve their fluency.
The course includes 5 didactic social activities per week.
NOTE the Spanish intensive course follows a zig-zag schedule that combines mornings and afternoons (3 mornings and 2 afternoons a week or the other way around), it normally rotates week by week. The conversation workshop is from 1:35pm to 2:25pm every day. The private lesson will normally be scheduled from 12:45pm to 1:35pm.

The welcome meeting was nice and "welcoming"
As I had private lessons with Sara Cartas and we only met three times during my stay in Valencia I didn´t participate in other activities. But we had really fruitful discussions about grammar issues, we also talked about the climate changes and problems, similarities and differences in work, we also read and talked about interesting newspaper articles.
Sara was an inspiring and talented teacher.
Unfortunately, I couldn´t stay more than a week, far too short a time. I would have liked to stay a few more weeks.
Since I was there for such a short time I cannot give any comments on the premises, activities etc.
The reception staff was also nice and helpful.
And due to the short time I am not able to answer all the questions below.
The teachers were very sympathetic with great empathy and professionality. We had a lot of fun in our class, the students were very engaged in learning and helped each other.
I participated in all cultural offers and enjoyed all of them.
I personally had a difficult time understanding the teacher and because of that I cud but get a great benefit. From it . I think it was pnsy grub tbh epithet students who were there fir a longer time

The classes are good, if you are learning for fun its perfect however if you really want to improve your grammar the school is not a great fit as they focus more on pronunciation and talking then on your grammar.
I like that you have two different teachers per day and every week another however the level between teachers is big. I had great ones and less experienced ones.
The location of the school if perfect, easy accessible and really central, the building is not big however the classes are decorated nicely and are spacious enough for 8 to 10 students. I have been really happy with the air conditioning, therefore it was really comfortable to attend the classes.
Activities organized by the school were amazing! I attended a great amount of activities, it is a great way to get to know the other students and at the same time experience the local culture!
I would recommend the school to anyone, and would definitely go back if I have the opportunity.
I am replying to this evaluation for both me and my husband George.
The school is extremely well run and organized. The teachers and staff go out of their way to make sure the students not only receive the best of instruction but that they also enjoy themselves and their stay in Valencia. We can't say enough about how wonderful our experience was.
The location of the school is perfect, central and with many cafes and shops nearby.
The apartment was great and very well located to the school and the main attractions of the city.
The only recommendation I might make is that the school's extra curricular activities include some earlier ones for retirees like us who avoid late evening outings. While I was there, the weekend outings were also geared to a much younger group, e.g., long bicycle outing, mountain climbing, and trips to other areas for fiestas. I would have liked weekend outings to other communities to tour the areas, see the sights along the way, dine and arrive home early evening.
My husband and I will remember our Taronja/Valencia stay as one of the highlights of our years together.
