"Excellent classes of Spanish language and culture"

Brigitte Bigar, student from Israel

In fact the classes i attended were not at all what I expected : I registered for a 50+ senior seminar with morning Spanish classes and afternoon cultural activities.

We were only three participants the first week and as my level was higher than the level of the two other participants I was put into the only other class of the school at this time, which was great for me ! I learnt a lot with another guy, 25 years old from Japan !

So I took the best of it !!!
and instead of a cultural offer for the two other weeks, I was offered a few private lessons with the remarkable teacher Irene.

so i am very very happy !

"Great staff and location"

John Keith, student from USA

The staff were fantastic. The instructor was able to adjust somewhat but mostly followed a modified the A1 curriculum. The 50+ course description didn’t really match what was provided . No course/workbook and minimal handouts. The field trips were wonderful and informative (taught and Spanglish!)

"It was an amazing and education experience cultural wise and language wise."

Piper Morgan, student from USA

The classes were very enjoyable and I feel like I learned a lot! My teacher was very helpful and made my learning experience helpful and fun. I enjoyed the in-class teaching and other times like going to the market to practice my Spanish. The location of the school location was very convenient for me due to the fact that my VRBO place was a 10 minute walk away. I also enjoyed the cultural activities I got to do like the Flamenco dance class, which was tons of fun, and the boat ride. I especially enjoyed the boat ride because I got to practice my Spanish with other girls my age while they practiced their English. It was nice to get to talk to someone who also understood the struggle of learning a new language. This experience especially helped me with my confidence in my conversational Spanish. One thing that I would like to note is that I was the only student in my class so I did not get a lot of chances to practice Spanish with other girls my age. On the other hand this also helped me improve on specific areas that I was personally struggling with this part of the program had its pros and cons. Overall I found the course very helpful!

Hubr Xior Sevilla is very close to the Reina Mercedes Campus and the Ramon y Cajal Campus, in addition to the María Luisa Park, Historical Garden, an emblematic place in the city and ideal for outdoor sports.

Its privileged location makes it practically perfect for students of the University of Seville due to its proximity to the Reina Mercedes and Ramón y Cajal Campuses, and due to its good connections with other Campuses such as Macarena, Nervión, Los Remedios or Cartuja, as well as with the rest of Seville Universities (LOYOLA, UPO, EUSA, CEADE, ESIC…) and the city center through public transport
