"Feedback in one sentence? Probably I didin´t expected so friendly and open space in Europa School of English, I had a little bit fear because my english speaking is not so good, but also only two weeks helps me gain more confidence! If it will be possible for me stay at school 3 months and more, I definitely will!"

Vanesa Bohunská, student from Slovakia

Unfortunately I was at Europa School of English only for two weeks, but also this short period made me happy and I benefited from it! I really love Simon´s classes because his approach matched to mine form of education, but no less I enjoyed classes with Salvador! All school was very open/inclusive space, I wasn´t afraid to make also mistakes, so I could learned from it. Teachers fucesed on personal progress of each student and tryed to acomodate education to all needs.

Location was perfect, only a few minutes from beautiful Boscombe garden and beach, where I spend almost every mornings before school. Free coffee, drinking water, tea and biscuits and also little garden with table tennis were perfect for socialisation with other students and chill between the classes. Also other places near by Boscombe/Bournemouthe like cliffs, Jurrasic Coast, Wareham, Salisbury and Stonehenge, also not so far from London are perfect for half-day or whole day trips (also after school).

In contrast, I expected more afternoon activities focused on study, not only short time together in cafe or on walk/beach. These activities wast suited for me, but also other students little critised them.

Housing was little bit more far away from the school, specifically in Christchurch, but actually I really love my host Carol who was very kind, tolerant and nice to me. Also her house was perfectly clean and beautiful, I appreciate also single room and private bathroom. She actepted my food diary (non-meat, specially plant-based food) for this I was really glad and thanks to her I feel comfortable (not only because food).

But I should say also some disadvantages in meaning of possibility to change it. First of all already mentioned afternoon activities, which was for me the biggest disadvantage. Also some students are there for longer period, but they don´t pay so much attention, so it is sometimes waste of time because of them (childish behavior, not space for study - but there was, of course, lot of great students/people with who I hope stay in contact). Sometimes I prefer corecting me, because my English is not so good, I have still troubles with wpeaking, but it still helps me!

Over all, I am very glad to your school and especially to Simon, who was my favourite teacher! If I had more time I would definitely stay there for more weeks!

"It was an unforgettable time among excellent people."

Elena Lysanova

The memories about my experience in Europa School still make me happy. The teachers were great and the classrooms were cosy and light. I also liked our helpful administrates who did their best for us. We had a wide range of activities at school. Some of them were probably a little bit boring for me (it is only in my humble opinion), but others were brilliant, e.g. photographic competition. My accommodation was located in a walking distance from school as I had asked before coming. It was very convenient for me and I liked my host family as well. So, I would like to thank my school one more time!

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from Europa School. Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 65 when you register.
