"It was really fantastic because I learned a lot and it also was the first time I traveled alone. For that reason, it was totally an adventure for me."

Patricia Quintero Sánchez, student from Spain

I really loved all about the experience while I lived there. I liked a lot the way teachers taught us the different contents. I also liked the food. At first, people told me that in Britain people eat horrible, but it isn't true.
I liked the convenience and good relationships between teachers-teachers, pupils-pupils and teachers-pupils.
Maybe the only thing I didn't like was the weather. I am from the north of Africa, and here it is always sunny and hot. There I was very cold, but in general, my experience was perfect and I hope go back again. Thanks very much for everything!

"It was an amazing and very useful experience in my life!"

Marcelo Vivacqua, student from Brazil

The time I've spent in Kaplan was really nice. I've made many friends, learned a lot about other cultures (not only English culture) and improved my English more than I could imagine that would be possible in the short time I've stayed in the school (3 weeks). This time, despite of has been so short was enough to give me good fluency in the language which allowed me to have good performance during the Invention Salon of Geneva and won the Gold Medal in the Medicine Category. Because that I say thanks to Kaplan!

visa

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from Kaplan International . Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 40 when you register.
