‘‘Strengthen your oral expression and comprehension’’
Our intensive courses enable students to communicate in French on everyday subjects as well as on current affairs and social issues. Students study the essential grammar, conjugation and vocabulary to enable them to develop the five skills necessary to progress in a language: Oral comprehension. Oral production. Oral interaction. Written comprehension. Written production.
The workshops held each day are real courses to improve oral practice in French. All the documents used come from French-speaking media: videos, radio programmes, reports, games. They allow students to exchange, discuss and debate in order to express themselves in a more fluid and targeted way.

I think this has been a great experience and opportunity to visit a new amazing city and review the french basics.

I was disappointed by the offering of school activities - most were in the afternoon when I had class and there was nothing in the evenings. It wasn’t a very sociable school compared to other language schools I’ve studied in.
My requirements for the housing weren’t really met - I asked not to be with a host but I still had to cook and eat all my meals in the house of a woman which was quite an uncomfortable set up. I didn’t feel like I had independence and it felt awkward. The shared toilet didn’t shut properly.
I was an amazing experience; I found a place friendly and homely.
They gave me a good support to learn french.
I just say thank you:
The teaching was great, location was awesome right in the centre. I didn't attend the activities but had a great student life. One qualm was that I stayed in a host family that wasn't very welcoming. I was not allowed to cook which made eating food very expensive. The lady made breakfast but it was only two pieces of bread with some butter and marmalade and a piece of fruit which was normally well past its best. I am a 19 year old who is very hungry, and that is simply not enough. Every morning I had to buy a second breakfast. when I asked her if she could make an egg or something more filling, she simply replied "I dont make eggs"- even though I had seen her make herself an egg. Also the tv was constantly on and she was reluctant to turn it off when I wanted to work or when I had to hear activities on my phone for homework. I would have happily done the work in my bedroom but there was no wifi in the bedroom and only a tiny desk. Other than that, the experience was perfect

I enjoyed socializing with the other students. My fellow students were made of up of a truly international group of adventurous and intelligent people that enjoyed learning. We supported each other in the learning process and there was a lot of camaraderie and respect for each other. The only thing that I would have done differently with my time at Langue Onze would have been to schedule a week or two off in the middle of the program. I look forward to returning next year to complete my studies.
Toulouse is a handsome historic town, very walk able, good restaurants. I found a pleasant apartment 10 minutes walking from school.
Langue Onze is very centrally located in Carmes neighborhood, handsome older building, class rooms well-equipped.
Professors engaged, welcoming and very competent.
Although I only attended 2 weeks this has given me a good encouragement to continue my effort to improve my knowledge of the French language. I did not experience anything that I did not like.
