I loved everything about the school, from the courses to the afternoon activities
Show details » Read more...The courses were good at a pretty high level (C1). My teacher was trying to make us learn in different ways and it worked well.
The location is convenient thanks to the nearby tube and village of Hampstead. Classrooms are fairly vast and airy and the building is clean. There is a little garden behind the building where you can play some badminton and have regular breaks. The activities were nice, but we had not enough time to really enjoy the activities because they were often far away from Hampstead location, and we had to be back to school at 5 pm.
I spent 2 exciting weeks attending your courses. Teachers and classes were great. No housing or activities for me, as I was at school only in the morning and I was staying with my relatives. As you already know I had some trouble on Monday and Tuesday of my first week as the school had no evidence of the result of my on line test. I was obliged to attend a course for beginners so I lost 2 days before being assingned to my class.

I had many facilities. I did well in all school activities. The welcome was perfect. The things I liked the most were the English lessons, while the thing I didn't like was when school ended.

Show details » Read more...I'd loved my week in London but I had some problems. My biggest problem was with my host family, I don't think Mrs McIntosh is capable to receive young people (under 18 years old). She wasn't at home when I arrived from the airport and she didn't help me on my first day( there was a tube strike) I had to find my way to school by myself. I asked to share a bedroom with someone else that study at LSI but I was alone in the room. It was very important to me to be with someone else, I would be more comfortable. The social activities were very good because they were not only touristic, for example when I was there we went to skate and it was perfect. The people who works at the school were very nice and ready to help you all the time! I really liked my week at LSI and I would like to stay more. If I have the chance I would love to come back to London and LSI.
Show details » Read more...I found the English class brilliant, and I learned a lot of useful things about the English language. The teachers, Louise and James were very kind and I had a good time there. It was nice to meet other students who came from other countries. The visits in the afternoon were very enjoyable and I discovered monuments and nice places of London, and discussed then with the other students. If I go to London again, I would visit there. It was a great experience to visit this school.

Show details » Read more...Julia was delighted with school and teachers in general. During the first week Julia was assigned to the level that was not well matched to her abilities and she found classes too easy while children in the classroom were disruptive. After requesting to change the level, Julia was moved up to a higher level for the second and third week of her stay and she enjoyed this class a lot! Teachers were very friendly and supportive while location very convenient. The provision of lunch/snacks was also a benefit.
