"Everybody who was working in the school of Hispalense was great."

Maximilian Kotzab, student from Austria

I felt really good to be there, everyone was nice and it was fun too! The teachers were great, they were understanding and sympathetic. Once in a week there was a dinner, the students could attend there by choice, to practice the language. I really can recommend it.

Host Families

To live with a host family means a complete immersion, including all the positives and drawbacks that come with it. There's a limited offer of host families, and those who team up with us take the assignment to have a guest living with their family seriously. They take care of the students concerns and help where they can. The typical host family doesn't necessarily consist of parents and kids because in most houses there will only be room for hosting students after the children have left home.

Early booking is advantageous for this kind of accommodation.

If the student needs to maintain a special diet for health reasons or is a vegetarian we would appreciate knowing in advance so that we can discuss it with the host family.

Type D Accommodation

Apartment in the old town

For those who are looking for accommodation of a higher standard we have a couple of places that we consider outstanding.

These apartments are suitable for all those students who want to live alone or are travelling with friends or family and want to live in or close to the town centre. Since it is a matter of personal taste, furniture etc. was not considered one of the criteria for choosing the apartments, but rather the atmosphere and character that we feel from them. Moreover we have a good knowledge of the housing conditions in Tarifa and can assure you that these places are suitably priced.

We offer apartments in the old and charming town centre as well as in the newer part of Tarifa. They are all located at a walking distance of 5 to 10 minutes to the beach or to our Spanish language school in Spain. We have smaller studios available for one person or couples as well as larger apartments with one or more bedrooms for families or friends who would like to travel together.

Some of our apartments boast a roof terrace with a panoramic view over the Tarifan rooftops or with views to the sea and Africa.

Just let us know your requests and we will search for the most suitable apartment for you. Please feel free to contact us and request pictures of the apartments by e-mail.

Bedding and towels will be provided in all apartments, but please bring your own beach towels. Also, there will be a washing machine and TV at your disposal.
