Course description

If you want to learn English efficiently, and also have free time, this is the way to do it.
Participants: small group of 2-3 people
You have the perfect mix of speaking with your teacher, and speaking with your group.
Half a day to learn, and the rest of the day you're free to explore London.

The mornings are spent with your academic trainer in the meeting room observing and practising the language and skills that you need in your context. Our teaching method is skills-based. We teach you how to be able to do particular useful tasks in English. This might include:
- finding your way around a new location
- asking for information about accommodation and places to eat
- customer/sales discussions and negotiations
- language skills for socialising and business networking
- research and talk about current events like the news and entertainment worlds
- public speaking - make a speech, or explain/teach to a group, in English

NOTE: In the rare event that the course has less than 3 students, the school has the right to offer 10 one-on-one lessons instead of 20 group lessons

"Very useful vocabulary perfect for me"

Selena Gomez

I had a half day immersion course in one week, it was 3 hours of financial analysis english everyday because I was preparing for my exam to be an accountant. I added 10 hours of vidio call meetings to practice speaking and listening. The classes were in Trafalgar squre so nice for me coming in the train. Robert was my teacher, he knew which areas I find difficult and helped me a little outside class that I thought was nice. Some days there were other students some time I was alone. The rooms are nice, coffee and bisciuts at breaktime. In the evening i did the online exercises with teacher Tom who gave me feedback and corections on my writing. I passed the ACA so i am very happy. Thank you to all at Capricorn.

"Flexible, made for me classes"

Sena Braithwaite

This is nearly two years ago now, I moved to UK with my husband and I did not think I would get into job interviews this quickly. I did a 1 to 1 course to improve myself. After I did online classes with the same teacher Jo Mondays and Thursday and I carried this on for some months. Nevertheless I still have work to do on writing structure. Jo is not there anymore but she is a good teacher and Anna helping with the paperwork, thank you!

I liked this. 5 days is may be too much for me I learned very fast I was so tired at end of day. The weather is not good you know!

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from Capricorn. Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you.
