Course description

BlueSky Education is proud to present our flagship Young Leaders and Public Speaking Programme. The course aim is to increase students’ confidence in spoken English as well as help them develop key life-skills. The programme helps students build a better future for themselves by encouraging development of skills such as leadership, public speaking, presentation and teamwork which they can use not only during the camp, but also back at home in their daily lives and further education. In-class interactions with other students from around the world, as well as local British students will further enhance students’ confidence in using English.

Students will have lessons for 3 hours every morning in our classrooms at either UCL or LSE, both in the heart of London. During the afternoons, students have the option to go on excursions around London, Cambridge University, Harry Potter Studios as well as take part in fun sports and activities (excursions and evening activities are subject to additional fees). Students are always encouraged to use their English and new skills during the excursions in order to create real life practical speaking experiences.

visa

Visa support

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.

If you are studying in the UK for over 11 months, you will receive a reference number called a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) that you need to submit to the UK embassy along with your General Student Visa application. Students who have successfully booked a language course and have paid their fees will receive a CAS from BlueSky. Please note that UK law states that a CAS can only be issued to students who intend to pursue English language studies for over 11 months.

If you are studying in the UK for 11 months or less, you have to apply for a special visitor visa called a Student Visitor Visa. As a student visitor, you will not be able to work part-time while studying. If you plan to study in the UK for 11 months or less, a letter of acceptance will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged £ 10 when you register.
