General English courses at ETC each follow a syllabus which is primarily designed to develop the four skills of speaking, writing, reading and listening, and to increase your awareness of how English works. The General English courses we provide at MC Academy are designed for students of all levels of English who want to improve their language skills in order to facilitate their everyday lives or improve their English level in order to further their careers or studies. Using a wide range of coursebooks and materials, MC Academy helps students to prepare for a life in English or for exam preparation classes.

You will also learn and revise new vocabulary, improve your pronunciation and polish your English grammar! Super-Intensive Course (28 lessons = 21 hours per week).

Our General English 20 + Skills Focus 6 course combines morning group tuition plus 2 afternoon sessions of 2 hours & 15 minutes concentrating on speaking and listening skills.

An intensive course incorporating dedicated speaking and listening modules throughout the week to build on your morning tuition, allowing maximum progress in your group studies. Classes will be in the morning Monday to Friday and in the afternoon Monday to Thursday (Friday afternoon - no lessons) Afternoon Skills classes are designed as a supplementary course in addition to morning classes (which are booked based).

You study 20 lessons every week following BLC’s curriculum of focused language training. A great choice if you want to have free time in the afternoon to enjoy your time in Brighton, see the sights or socialise with your new friends from BLC.

This course focuses on one of the following subjects : Conversational English / Business English / Exam Preparation. This course features: 10 lessons per week, 1 lesson: 50 minutes, 15 students maximum per class, ages 16+ This course is suitable for students who wish to improve their fluency, vocabulary and pronunciation in a language.

Plus Six is a 6 hour per week, part time course which focuses on the use of reading, writing, speaking, and listening in a communicative way. The syllabus is created by the teachers and offers dynamic and interactive lessons each week.
