This course focuses on pronunciation and fluency. You will work on problematic sounds specific to your nationality, including intonation and stress, to sound much more natural.

English for Academic Purposes is aimed at students who need English for use in higher education or university. Courses focus on performance in English at University level, study skills and fluency practise.

You will have a personalised OHC English Programme based on a strategic needs analysis by OHC. You choose how many lessons you will have and on which topics and areas of language you would like to focus, depending on your personal objectives; for example, you may wish to improve your Conversational English, to concentrate on your Grammatical Accuracy or develop your ability to Read and Write in English.

Our High School Preparation program is a specialised English course which teaches the language and study skills necessary for high school entry. Students develop the English skills and knowledge required for successful participation in Australian school settings, including some subject-specific content that will enable them to follow the key learning areas, and a focus on communication for personal interaction in and out of class.

IELTS PREPARATION COURSE (COURSE CODE 092869G) The IELTS Preparation course is a 20 hour/week course designed to prepare students to undertake the IELTS English test. Students who wish to enroll in the program should demonstrate at least an intermediate level of English skills.

The ILSC Cambridge Mastery Program is designed to prepare you for success on the Cambridge Main Suite Exams (FCE, CAE, CPE, and BEC). The exams test reading, use of English, writing, listening and speaking, and all of these skills will be covered throughout the program.

ILSC also offers ongoing open Cambridge courses, available in any of our schedule options. Open courses allow you to choose the specific course and study length you need to prepare for success on the PET, FCE, CAE, or BEC Cambridge exams.
