This full-time course provides highly intensive and thorough preparation for the IELTS exam.
The course includes:
- 32 lessons per week, which includes 20 lessons of General English/ 8 IELTS Preparation lessons/ 4 lessons (3 hours) of additional exam practice.
During the school holidays we shall once again be providing support for Abiturienten/innen. The programmes consist of small group tuition for Englisch als LK with two extremely experienced Oxford tutors.
These are courses combining General English with specialised training for the Cambridge examination. 20 lessons of General English; 10 lessons Cambridge examination option class, 5 hours of self-access study.
20 lessons General English plus 10 lessons of specialised training for the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS). Total 30 lessons per week.
Learn about topics such as participation in meetings, writing skills in business situations and interview techniques. Practice workplace communication techniques in English, learn how to participate in meetings and business writing skills.
Students follow the Standard General English course in the mornings and take the Business English option three afternoons per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The Business English option is designed for students who wish to improve their communicative proficiency in a business environment.

How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
