Junior French courses in Poitou-Charentes are for children ages 8 to 12 and teenagers ages 13 to 18 who want to study French in Poitou-Charentes. 4 - 8 week courses available in the summer from June to August.
The objective is for the children to learn French in a natural way and work on oral and writing skills through lively and interactive recreational activities. The emphasis is on speaking and the fluidity of conversation.

The club, which has been in existence for over 20 years is affiliated with the French Sailing Federation (FFV) and its premises and equipment provide all the necessary safety to welcome even the youngest students.

French lessons take place in the morning from 9am to 12.15pm (15 min break) then a staff member supervises the children during lunch on the terrace at the inlingua Centre or beside the sea (meal not included).

Our junior summer program is aimed at foreign adolescents (12 to 17 years old). It combines a language course with sports activities.

How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
