Italian courses for beginners in Tuscany are for students who have never studied Italian. This course is ideal for students who know very little to no Italian. It is for students who only know a few Italian words, such as 'hello', 'thank you', and 'goodbye'.
The Intensive course is for students who want to maximize their language learning practice during their stay. The courses focus heavily on speaking and communication skills: the morning consists of 4 group lessons in communication skills,where students are also asked to practice specific gramnar items in a passive and productive way to to enhance their effectiveness in using the language.

How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
