Spanish courses for adults in Tibas

The program SUM+ allows foreign students to register in up to five courses (a minimum of two courses) from the academic offer of the University of Iberoamerica (UNIBE) and take, at the same time, Spanish Language and Culture courses. For enrolling in the program, the student needs at least a B2 level in Spanish because all the courses offered by UNIBE are taught in Spanish.

The purpose of this course is to prepare students for academic environments. In this subject, the students study, analyze and produce different types of written and oral texts in Spanish (essays, academic and scientific articles, conferences, presentations).

The aim of this program is to give people, who want to teach Spanish as a Second Language, the necessary tools to give an adecuate and coherent class following the principles established by the Common Language Reference Framework and the Cervantes Institutes. This one-year program includes 8 modules of six weeks each in which students receive classes of methodology, didactics, pedagogy, Spanish vocabulary and syntax, pragmatics, among others.
