More about studying in Dubai »
Dubai is one of the seven territories that makes up the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is home to the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, which stands at an impressive 828 m (2,717 ft). Students interested in studying Arabic courses in Dubai will truly enjoy their time in this modern and breathtaking city. Dubai has the largest population in the (UAE) and the second largest amount of land as well. Although Dubai was formally established in the 19th century, it wasn’t until oil was found in 1966 that Dubai’s economy really exploded. Nowadays, Dubai is an economic hub and filled with ornate modern architecture and resorts. Located south of the Persian Gulf, going to Arabic school in Dubai will enable students to learn the language while also enjoying this beautiful and hot climate. Since Dubai is such a large city, visitors will have many locations and districts to explore, including: Satwa , a combination of many Indian and Filipino restaurants and shops ; Jumeirah, a beautiful area, complete with Jumeirah beach; and many more business and residential areas. Visitors who want to see how the rich and famous spend their time in Dubai could stop by the world’s only “7 star hotel” the Burj al-Arab hotel, which is shaped like a sail and usually requires reservations for a room at least one month in advance. Of course, there are also many historical sites to visit while in Dubai as well, like Al Ahmaydiya, Dubai’s first school, or the Dubai Museum.

How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
