Exeter is an historic city located in Devon, England. Its history dates back over 2000 years. It was founded by the Celts and then further developed by the Romans. It gained wealth as a trading port during the Middle Ages. Students enrolled in English courses in Exeter should be sure to visit St. Peter’s Cathedral. It was built around 1114 and was finished in its present form around 1375. Be sure to stop in at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery. The facility has a variety of exhibits including fine art, costumes and textiles, decorative arts, local history, local archaeology, geology and more. For another unique attraction, see the Underground Passages. These medieval passages were built to supply the city with fresh water. Running from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 11:45 (including breaks), each morning session is aimed at specific language aspects: grammar mastery, reading and listening comprehension, and interactive speaking practice.

Our summer English courses take place in our local school and during peak weeks we might use additional teaching facilities such as the Bournemouth & Poole College.
