Our school is unique because we focus on improving your communication skills. We use modern tools like smart boards, computers, and videos to make learning interactive, easy, and fun. At Aston, we care about all parts of your learning: we teach grammar and vocabulary, but we also help you think better, speak better, work with others, and be more creative.
Choosing our school means choosing a place where you'll learn a lot and have fun doing it. We've helped lots of students before you, and we can help you too. So come join us here in Austin. We’re here for you!
Aston International Academy is part of the Aston Educational Group that has helped over 1 million students worldwide with their educational dreams.
Aston International Academy is not the same as other ESL schools in Austin. We are unique! Of course, your education is our number one priority, and we have young, highly-trained, experienced teachers. We also have small class sizes, which means that you have a lot of opportunity to participate, and teachers can give you a lot of attention. But at the same time, we also know how to have fun and also have social and cultural activities every month so you can get to know your classmates, teachers and other students in the school. Some of things we do: going to museums and movies, dancing, bowling, hiking, and canoeing. We also like parties! We celebrate student birthdays, we have parties for Christmas, Halloween, Valentine’s Day and Thanksgiving, and we have parties to celebrate the end of each semester. Our style is fun, funky and home-like. Your experience at AIA will be one that you will never forget.
AIA has partnerships with the following universities and colleges in USA. You can gain full or conditional acceptance into one of these institutions.
The nationality and age mix at Aston International Academy varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 25. In the summer, the average age is 25.
AIA teaches students from all over the world, including:
AIA does not hold classes on the holiday dates below. The school does not compensate for these holidays, so make sure to choose your start date accordingly.
Austin is one of the best cities in the United States to study English and go to school. Not only is it very safe but it is one of the most unique places in the world.
Austin is the "Live Music Capital of the World"! People in Austin are friendly and laid-back, and Austin is considered one of the "fittest" cities in the U.S. Every season there are endless outdoor and indoor activities offered including yoga, running/walking trails, hiking, swimming, camping, kayaking, paddleboarding, wakeboarding, etc. Austin loves food, so there is a lot to try. Winters are mild, and summers can get very hot - but AIA makes sure you get a chance to swim all summer.
Austin was recently voted one of the top cities in America by Bloomberg Business Week. Come see what makes Austin special!
Aston International Academy is located in East Austin, less than one mile from downtown, and less than one mile from the 10-mile hike and bike trail at Lady Bird Lake. The neighborhood is one of the funkiest (cool and trendy) and most popular in Austin. You can find a lot of small shops, coffee shops, bakeries, food trucks and bars, and some of the best and most famous restaurants in Austin. There are plenty of bus routes and a metro train near AIA, so it is easy to explore. The area is busy and full of life, but if you have a car, parking is easy. We have a large parking lot behind our building, but if that gets full, street parking is free until 3pm.
I like the way the classes where given. Not that strict, joky sometimes. It was refreshing to be here at Language International School.

However, the school needs a proper structure for receiving small-term students. I recommend more for people who want to live in the USA and must study for more than six months.

Aston is like a family and they make you feel comfortable and confident all the time.

This Very Nice Experience in Aston International Academy .

Most of the time I had private lessons.
The teachers were smart, cool and funny so I had a good time and I learned a lot.
But I also met some students from all over the world in my breaks that was awesome.
I enjoyed going to School there and definetly would recommend AIA to everyone.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We were so happy to have you here and enjoyed every minute of your two weeks!

Thank you for the review!
I liked the school because I made new friends. I've known several people, and friends of friends. Each one of them came from different countries each with different culture. And I've known teachers to help teach reading, writing, listening, speaking and I've improved myself. I will never forget this school.

We loved having you here and hope that you will come and visit us if you ever make it back to Austin.
It was an incredible experience. Everything was fine, it was in excellent location, and they had well-trained teachers. In general, the staff was very attentive and helped you if you had a problem.

The main problem was that the English proficiency of the students in the classes were not on the same level. The rooms were also too small for the classes.

Thank you for your feedback. All feedback is appreciated and we have done well to limit our class sizes now to make sure everyone gets the attention they need and deserve.
Take care!
My personal experience in this school has been really good. The teachers are very professional, explain their classes for the people can understand. For me, have been a good experience and I think that my English in this month is better than the first day.
Show details » Read more...The classes are really good! The teachers are creative, patient, and kind! They explain clearly and with joy! The location is really good! But they don't have a private parking lot! But it's not a problem! They always do something to unite the students! Games, parties, etc. It was remarkable! I liked this school so much! I recommend checking it out!
Show details » Read more...It was a nice experience, even if very short. I studied there only for two weeks, so I can't say a lot about the school. The teachers are so good and kind. The lessons are good, but I think that it will be better if there were more conversations and when the students are talking the teacher correct them. The location is right, above all, for the guys that live in west campus.
However it was great, and I met a lot of students.
We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the school can supply you with all the documentation you need to support your visa application.
If you are studying full time in the United States for more than 18 hours per week, you will receive an I-20 that you need to submit to the US embassy along with your F-1 student visa application. The I-20 has a SEVIS tracking number on it. Students who wish to apply for a student visa must pay the SEVIS fee online before going to the US embassy or consulate for their visa interview.
Your I-20 will be sent to your home address by regular mail at no charge to you. If you wish to receive your paperwork by express mail, you will be charged $50 when you register.
Please note that United States law states that an I-20 can only be issued to students who intend to pursue full-time English language studies. United States law does not permit students to study part-time with an F-1 Student Visa. If you are studying for less than 18 hours per week, you have to apply for a Visitor Visa (B1/B2) on your own.
Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Austin based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
Study abroad worry-free with Language International's health and personal effects insurance coverage. When you book a course with us, you can opt to purchase an international insurance plan that covers not only your health care cost but also loss of your personal belongings. You must book your insurance in advance when you register.

Hi. You can always visit our school located at 5205 Airport Blvd. We are open 8am-4pm
Students must be at the High Intermediate or Advanced level to take the TOEFL class. A true beginner, would be unable to take this course within 48 weeks.
A student with a B2 visa can only study for 18 hours per week for 4 weeks. After that she would have to reduce her hours to 15/week. Federal regulations state that students on B2 visas may not study full time.
Students that are not holders of a student visa can only participate in part time courses - 15 hours or less.
