The Providence Catholic School Board serves students distributed over a territory of more than 28,819 km2 which includes the Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent, Lambton /Sarnia, London-Middlesex-Elgin, Woodstock /Oxford, Huron-Perth and Gray regions-Bruce. Ontario's education system is considered one of the best in the world; it has and meets high academic standards and the staff is highly skilled. In terms of graduation, the CSC Providence ranked second among all school boards in the province. At the secondary level, student test scores from the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) exceeded the provincial average by 85% in mathematics (theoretical level) and 90% (level language skills).
In addition to the regular Ontario curriculum, our schools offer a variety of programs such as the International Baccalaureate (IB), Specialist High Skills Major, Dual Credits, COOP and OYAP programs, Hockey Canada Skills Academy, dance and volleyball schools. In addition, many extracurricular activities and educational outings are offered to pupils, all with a view to enabling students to develop intellectually, physically and personally.
