CR Languages was founded in the summer of 2010 in Boise, Idaho, with the purpose of providing a resource to people interested in learning about other languages and cultures. We are a small operation that focuses on classes that utilize native-speakers and a full-immersion methodology. For us, studying another language goes far beyond verbs and vocabulary. Studying another language is about cultural exchanges, expanding our knowledge, personal challenges, and enrichment.
Why are we different?
The students at CR Languages make the intensive English course different from any other course. Most English students at CR Languages are adults who wish to improve their English in order to advance their career, or more actively participate in a global society. They simply want to improve their English and they are very motivated to do so. Having truly motivated students in the classroom pushes each person to learn and progress as much as possible.
Each class is not a traditionally structured class. Students do not sit and take notes as an instructor lectures. And students do not spend any time in a computer lab with headphones. Rather, with a maximum group size of only six, students gather around a large table to communicate and study the language together, with the guidance and expertise of an experienced instructor.
The approach that CR Languages takes to teaching a language is also unique. The truth is, language is always changing, and adapting with society and the people who speak the language. As such, we must look at the bigger picture when learning a language, rather than focusing on one style, accent, or dialect. This is especially true with English. For this reason, we utilize a unique curriculum in the class room to train students to understand different forms and accents in English, which is a very useful skill in today’s global marketplace.
The nationality and age mix at CR Languages varies over different time periods, courses and levels. Throughout the year, the average age is 35.

I'm Tatiana Di Marco and I come from Italy. In August 2014, I attended the Intensive English class at CR Languages; I had a one-to-one course for two weeks.
Every morning, three teachers with competence tutored me. They were professional and attentive to my needs and, at the same time, were really nice and friendly. I found myself immediately at ease, and I spent very pleasant hours with them.
I had to commit a lot and pay continuous attention. Every afternoon I had homework to do and it was useful to improve my learning skills. They had great teaching materials. I still use them when needed.
I'm glad I chose such a thorough English Course!
As CR Languages is located downtown Boise, I attended a lot of events after the course, many of which were suggested by Roger, the co-founder of the school.
What a great experience! I carry it in my heart and I will never forget it.
Thank you Tatiana! It was a pleasure having you in class and I'm very glad you had such a great time in Boise (including the Rodeo!). Hopefully we'll see you agian soon.
I found CR Languages school in Boise because I was traveling to Boise for job experience and I would like to use the travel to improve my English skills.
Since I have contacted with CR Languages they gave me all attention needed to understand the school facilities, the class's method, and all stuffs needed to find accommodations in Boise.
My class was a single user class, it was very good, because the teachers gave more attention in what I needed.
The location of CR is fantastic, it is in Boise downtown, with a lot of facilities, restaurants and other shops near the school.
If I have a new opportunity to go to Boise for an extended time, I will try to do a new class in CR Languages.
Thank you Eduardo! Please let us know the next time you are in Boise!
Best, Roger
I learned English at CR Languages. The teacher is really good at teaching English. He is kind, cheerful, and outgoing. The class was fun! I enjoyed the class every day! I hadn't had confidence to speak or understand English before I went to CR Languages, but I am enjoying to speak English now.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. The school is also not authorized to issue an I-20 to support an F-1 student visa application. If you need a visa, you have to apply for a Visitor Visa (B1/B2) on your own.
Please note that we do not book flights for our students. If you are researching airfare costs, we recommend using Kayak.com, a search engine that lets you compare flight options from your home country to Boise based on your budget, schedule and preferences.
