EF Education First was founded in 1965 by a young Swedish entrepreneur Bertil Hult. Our first office was modest, and the concept was simple: send students to learn from Sweden to England to acquaint them with the English language and culture. At that time nobody knew that what a successful future awaited us.

Decades later, EF has become the largest private education company in the world and now includes a group of 15 subsidiaries and non-profit organizations. Today, EF has over 37,000 employees, teachers and volunteers worldwide. EF has offices and schools in 53 countries, making us the biggest language school in the world.

In our time, it is important to understand the different cultures and mentalities of other nations, so the task of EF is as relevant than ever. We help to overcome linguistic, cultural and geographical barriers that divide people. We offer training programs of the highest quality.
