"Cours très didactiques avec professeurs adaptant leur pédagogie au public concerne"

Veronique Vanderveck, student from France

"Useful and interesting. Made for anyone"

Lavinia Isella, student from Italy

I lived in a house very near to the centre and to the school. My host-mom was really nice with me and gave me and my roommate personal space and freedom.
Every morning, during classes, I had fun learning some new words or revising some grammar rules. The teachers were young and patients.
I loved the activities prepared by the school even if we couldn't do some activities because of the San Juan week. My favourite day was the ones where we went to the beach and I hoped we could've stayed there for longer time.
I loved the experience in Alicante with Estudio Sampere, I met some new fantastic people and saw very interesting places, like the MARQ museum. I should definitely come back and tell my friend to do the same.

"Very professional set up and very enjoyable classes. Good teachers"

Lesley Culley, student from UK

The moment you walk in you know you are in a very professional place. I received a very friendly welcome from the director. The level test is important to ensure you are put in the right class.
You are given lots of opportunity to listen and speak in a structured way which improves your grammar. They use an excellent text book: Aula.
The only negative was that some students in my class were erratic in their attendance and some arrived late.

Good, comfortable, welcoming accommodation makes all the difference when it comes to your Spanish studies in Alicante.
We understand this and work hard to give you the best choices of accommodation in all destinations.

Estudio Sampere inspects all accommodations and selects them based on their good value, cleanliness, reliability, facilities and location. We have direct management of the accommodation, avoiding any intermediary.

Our accommodation team will go above and beyond to find the best option for you, based on your needs and preferences. Our team will advise you and assist you, should you have questions on the geographical situation of the area that you will be staying at, getting to school, communicating with your host family or the owner of the apartment, living with other international students, and particularly with Spanish speakers, as well as on their traditions and customs, gastronomy, and your food preferences.

The idea is to adapt everything to your daily habits, so that you feel like home. We know every student is unique, and has a different lifestyle. Whatever your option and your destination is, you can make sure Estudio Sampere will make you feel at home!

Estudio Sampere has reached agreements with several families, who are willing to welcome students in their homes. This option provides a full linguistic and cultural immersion, since students not only practice the language in class with their teachers, but also have real-life experiences with their host family. They help students on their day-to-day, and teach them vocabulary and expressions that are typical of each region, and of each member of the family. This way, students get a first-hand approach on how to live
Spanish speakers, their local gastronomy and jargon.

At home, students will share the common areas with the rest of the family: the living room, kitchen, bathroom, but they will have, of course, their own private bedroom. In case of couples or friends traveling together, the choice of a double room is also available.

Families have been carefully hand-picked to meet our requirements. As language experts, we know that being away from home can affect the student’s learning and overall experience. Thus, our families are used to welcoming students and making them feel part of the family. We select the family based on the students’ interests, so that this experience can provide both an academic and a personal enrichment.

Students can choose the half-board option, if they also want to try the delicious local cuisine offered by each destination at local restaurants, or full-board if they want to take full advantage of the experience of discovering traditional dishes, prepared with great care by the families.

The Director of each school, always at the student’s disposal, can change a student’s accommodation if the need arises. If the student is not happy and wants to change family, the School will propose the names of three additional families that the student can visit and then make his/her choice. There is no extra cost if a student decides to change families.

Thanks to our more than 60 years of experience hosting students, we are confident that we will be able to fulfill your expectations. Our most recent satisfaction survey shows a 90% success rate, both for students and for members of the families.

Good, comfortable, welcoming accommodation makes all the difference to your Spanish studies in Spain, Ecuador, or in Cuba. We understand this and work hard to give you the best choice of accommodation in all destinations. Renting a student room gives you a more independent lifestyle. You share an apartment with 2 to 4 other people, usually other Sampere students, with whom you also share certain expenses such as toiletries and cleaning materials. You have a private and basic room (bed, table, closet, lamps, window). The kitchen, living room and bathroom are communal. Together you are responsible for keeping the apartment clean. The minimum stay in a student room is 1 week. We advise long-term students to book the first four weeks before arrival. Once in Spain, you can extend the rental period.

The locations are varied, ranging from apartments at a walking distance from the city-center and the school to apartments located in other interesting neighbourhoods further away from the school, and in which cases, public transport is necessary.

Student rooms/shared flats are ideal for students looking for a more independent lifestyle. The flat have the following common areas: living room with TV, fully equipped kitchen and shared bathroom. The flat occupancy may vary from 1 to 4 students, depending on the season. All flats offer wi-fi connection. Cleaning service is not included. This option is not advisable for students over 50 years old.

ARRIVAL ON SUNDAY AND DEPARTURE ON SATURDAY.
- Extra day: 30 Euros.
- 3 extra days or more will be counted as a full week.
- Double room option available only for students traveling together.

School location

ESTUDIO SAMPERE ALICANTE
Nestled in Alicante’s city center, Estudio Sampere Alicante is located on the first floor of a small building. It has nine classrooms fully equipped with all the necessary technology to apply the latest methods for teaching Spanish.
Its size is perfect for students seeking personalized attention in a friendly environment, with the maximum academic rigor, as well as for students traveling for the first time, or at an early age.

Our groups, with a maximum of nine students, have an average of five
students per class. This allows students to learn fast in any of the different levels included in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. In addition, the school offers a different social and cultural program each week that will complete the students’ immersion into Spanish
life.

Walks to discover the best corners of the city, local gastronomic activities, and thematic classes focused both on local and national events. Our staff is fully devoted to providing a top-quality experience from an academic standpoint, but also in terms of the social and cultural life of students. You will feel right at home.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
On the shores of the Mediterranean, in Alicante, Estudio Sampere is located in an urban neighborhood drawn by the various cultures that have shaped this city. This district is characterized by its bustling social life. There are plenty of small restaurants and terraces where students may enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning, or relax in the afternoon with the city’s famous “tardeo”. Everything is close to this area, as it is at a walking distance from the beach and Marina, the famous Esplanade of Alicante, and accommodation for students, either with our host families or at apartments

THE CITY
In the heart of Costa Blanca, and thanks to its orographic characteristics (a small mountain range in the interior and the Mediterranean Sea on its coastline), Alicante’s microclimate is perfect any time of the year. With an average of 18 °C and over 3,000 hours of sunshine each year, Alicante is a paradise among the cold European winters.
The pleasant
climate and the small size of the city allow for a quiet life that translates into the friendly and welcoming character of its residents. It has an international airport that connects with the main European cities, and a high-speed train line that brings us closer to the rest of Spain. Beyond the city, the province of Alicante offers a multitude of weekend excursions and secret beaches for everyone. It is a perfect combination between life in a city and the quiet life on the coast.
