Inlingua is very good experience for basic level English. I liked the timetable - not so many breaks, just enough. Also some activity was great and useful. A lot of possibilities to meet different peoples. I didn't like the book - i think that for my level (B1) would be better to have more texts and exercises. Some teachers are very professional but not all.

Our teacher Roxy was great! She is Maltese but her accent is more British than Maltese. She is a very nice person. English lessons were well prepared and interesting.
The only thing I would claim is that the book (Level B2 Step 2) is too easy for that level.
I didn‘t book the accommodation via the school.
I appreciated my experience in Inlingua a lot because teachers were very kind and there lessons were very interesting,

I really liked the school, the teachers are super friendly and because of the small amount of students, it is very personal. I didn't like the closing of the school due to covid... but this is something we can't control

It was a pity that we had to close for some time but we thank you for coming to us - your professional manner and maturity were outstanding qualities in you! - best of luck - David @inlinguamalta
I liked everything - the location, teachers, educational materials, the small number of students in the group. All the staff were very helpful and always ready to help. Unfortunately, the last three days of classes were held online due to measures to combat COVID 19. But these classes were also held at a high level! In general, I am very happy with both the classes themselves and my stay in Malta. Thanks!

The school, building, staff and teachers are very good.
The classes aren't very numerous and this allows for better learning.
The accommodation in the residence assigned to me, equipped with a kitchenette, wasn't the best, quite precarious in terms of cleanliness and equipment.
Dear Valentina, We are glad to have had you with us and we look forward to welcoming you again! The next time you visit please speak to our team so we can place you in a better accommodation standard. Wishing you all the very best!
Unfortunately I was only one week at school, so I can not write so much about the experience.
It was a good experience.
After four days studying at school almost four months online lessons. With exceptions the class sizes were ideal. The teachers made very interesting and funny lessons. The location and facilities are nice. No activities took place during corona time. I had to change the host mother after ten weeks as i felt so alone in this special time. For the last six weeks I had good conversations with my host mother.

I like a school, modern classes and a school residence.
It was good to study in small classes. Then teacher can help one person more easily. Small group have also better spirit than big group. Students and teachers were very kindly and helpfull. Teacher was intresting in teaching. Location in Sliema is just right place. There is everything close. Pool was very nice bonus where I was many times. I lived in airbnb houses and hotel whitch were very nice and close to school. Entry exam was only grammal rules. It would be more versatile.

I booked a business English course and was a bit surprised when I found out that i will have private Lessons. I mean it was great but I think at my level it is the most important to talk and I would have liked it better when I would not have been alone with my teacher. So we could have done some role plays like telephone calls or presentations.
My teacher was great. I really enjoyed talking to her! And she interrupted at the right times to correct me and teach me some grammar.
The location was great but the building in the next house was a bit too loud at times to work concentrated.
We only joined the free activity on Monday (Malta 5D) and I have to say that I did not really liked it. The person from the school was not really speaking or explaining anything to us. Also the cinema on its own is not really good.
Dir me personally the other activities were not really appealing. Bit to get some discount on like bus tours is great.
It was really amazing and full of experiences. Of course my language skills improved. I love my teacher, she was super teacher. I learned a lot from her. The host family was definitely perfect, my host mother was very nice and kind. The school was excellent in all respect. I will recommend it for everyone I know who wants to learn English. I was totally satisfied.

I won't forget my favorite teacher, Mister Joe. He didn't only teach me but he explained clearly and we talked about different subjects. I am grateful to him for it. At Inlingua school I met many good people from different countries and cultures. It was a pleasure for me to meet them. I will return for a new wonderful experience.

It was in the low season (January) and there were only a few students in each class, maximum of three. So it was very effective! Administration is very polite and helpful! Matilda and Vanessa (teachers) were very kind.
Both kids enjoyed the lessons very much and they were sad when the course was finished.
The best place to learn English. My family, friends was there and it was amazing, good class ( the second week there were 13 students in a small classroom, it was too much) , good atmosphere and good staff. I would like to return again next year.
Thanks for all the support specially Michele.
Everybody is very kind and worried about you; they try to help you and they are very flexible if you need to change your level if it's better for you.
Show details » Read more...I was there only for a week. The weather in December was awful, all day raining.
The classes were interesting because I was in a small group.
My homestay family was very nice, but the house was quite precarious: old, cold, wet, and my bed tiny.
The classes' organisation was very good.
Teachers were very proffesional.
Location, I liked.
The only think I didn't like very much was when we are 10 students together; I think as many as 8 students is ok.
Inlingua is an excellent school which gives you nice language skills for a short time. The friendly atmosphere and care will accompany you all throughout the training at school. The personnel at school will care not only for your training and safety, but also for the leisure organization.
It was my first experience of training in English abroad, and the result is better than I expected.
I overcame a barrier to communicate in English for a short time. I am happy with that result.
There are excellent conditions for communication at the school, but in many respects, it depends on your desire to communicate. It is necessary to remember that nobody will give you a tablet for speaking in English. :-))
My special respect to teachers of this school!
The teachers are very artistic. The lesson will never be boring for you. Teachers are also very delicate and you will feel free to ask for help if tasks are very difficult for you.
If you are going to Malta, generally for language studying, I want to give only two pieces of advice:
1/ Don’t reserve an expensive hotel in Malta, because you will be there only a little bit time. Inlingua school will offer you many excursions and other entertainments. You will have an additional opportunity for communication if you stay with a host family.
2/ Don't rent the car, because there is no place to drive. It is very pleasant to walk or go by the bus. On Malta, there are a lot of beautiful places which are necessary to visit.
I hope that my advice will help you make a right choice and spend money economically.
The kind of learning English in the classroom and at locations (bars, restaurants, harbor cruise and other historical buildings) gave me the chance to talk with my teachers about different topics. My teachers (Harsha, Mariella and Martese) were very friendly and I've got a lot of information about Malta and the history of Malta and I really improved my English. In the classroom I had the possibility to talk about some specific themes from my daily business (e.g. emails)

Accommodation in Hotel Preluna was O.K.
I had private classes, which was very helpful for me. The atmosphere at school was friendly. I made a big progress during the lessons. I like Malta as an island with a good weather, peaceful atmosphere, good pubs and restaurants, and very helpful and friendly people. I took my lessons at Inlingua Malta regularly twice a year since 2004 and every time I found some new experiences. It is a nice possibility to combine my holidays and studying.

Location is very good, it's a beautiful place with little fountains and there were some place of fastfood near there. What about activities, I liked all of your excursions very much. And my host family was fantastic. They did everything for my satisfaction and always communicated with me.

Everything else was very nice!
P.s. There weren't bad things!
My experience has been positive, I have improved my English. The teachers were very friendly. My class consisted of six students. I was housed in a hotel in Sliema next to the school.
Thanks for everything.

Ask a questionI can gladly confirm we can arrange the accommodation, though not at our Residence since we do not advise it for such young children in Summer, it is a Student Residence therefore will be very noisy. I have attached the rates for a couple of apartments or hotels in the area which would be much better options for them.
I sent you the hotels just in case they may want to stay together, though if the kids are going to book a full junior package they would stay in the host family and the mother in the hotel.
Groups are usually 10+ students, I could calculate a package to include a free leader though the price would come far more expensive, since 4 people are not really a group, it is an average family.
inlingua Malta accepts group booking too at special rates. You can send us an email directly to learn about what is included in group travel. Please send an email to [email protected]

COSTS
It depends what he would like to do during the day, if he would like to buy anything or go anywhere in particular. Since he would be on full board I think Euro 10 would be enough, though I always like to give between 10- 20 Euros as a budget. Either cash or credit card, I think it is quite hard to cash travelers here in Malta right now. Yes the accommodation and the book, though we do not arrange flights
*HOMESTAY*
Most families are between 10-15 minutes walk from the school, therefore most students go on foot. If there is a valid reason yes, other wise there would be cancellation charges. Activities would need to be pre booked with the school, we would organize them for him, the family only take junior students which have supervision out on the weekend. Yes the family will show him the way to school on the first day. It depends on availability. We don't normally offer profiles to choose, since it depends on the availability
*COURSE*
Not much just something to write with and a book to write in should he like to make some extra notes. Please find the schedule attached the course content depends on the students level at the time of the course. No there is only a placement test at the beginning of the course. Our certificates are certificates of attendance so every one gets one based on their level when they finish the course and the amount of lessons they took.
Yes he certainly can stay in the same host family as his son. Would they both like single rooms? or would they like to share for those 3 nights?
So the father would need to pay the same rate as the son, which is in Euro
Regarding accommodation I would need to know their budget in order to check apartment.
So the Kiddies Club is basically a supervised activity bundle for kids between 5-7, 7-11 and 11 -13. This programmed does not include lessons, though runs every day between 12.30hrs and 17.30hrs, it includes a packed lunch and lots of fun arts, crafts, sports etc
What we can offer a 3 year old are private lessons since normally they would not know how to read and write therefore they would not cope with the rest of the class. When they would take private lessons we would make specific arrangements for the lessons to be tailor made to the students age.
When booking Juniors travelling alone one would not book standard accommodation, they would need to book accommodation with supervision, since a child junior can never be alone and this is always on full board. When it comes to pick up from the airport that is done by the family and apart from the standard transfers there is an Extra Euro airport supervision charge since they would need to stay with the student until they get on the plane. Leisure activities are also done by the family. What you can do is offer the Junior package, with this you would need to add the Airport Supervision Charge and the Registration Fee.
We certainly do, we would suggest an apartment or a hotel. Mornings, though our General English 30 course finishes at 14.30
