"The Best Cocktail of Language Learning, Culture Studies And Fun"

Valentina Holubeva

Coming to KKCL in Harrow was like coming to your dream. You approach this ancient building and you are thinking, "OMG, am I going to study in a REAL English college?" The interior, however, is modern, comfortable and and well-planned, so you do not suffer the harsh conditions of the past centuries, as described in the books.
The school has all what is needed for learning and also facilities for self-studies and communication. The Media Center is a great asset too. And the little cozy court yard is a great advantage.
The students liked the classes and their teachers. One student said that the classes were his best memory of the trip. It's not that he didn't like the sights, it's because he liked the teacher and the method.
We liked the lunch provided by the school. It was generous, healthy and quick.
The accommodation was provided by host families, and this time everyone was happy with the conditions, the meals and the attitude.
In terms of suggestions for improvement I would mention the WiFi connection, which was not always stable.

Staying in one of Harrow School’s traditional British boarding houses with full board included.

The boarding houses are in close proximity to KKCL John Lyon's classrooms and all the world-class facilities that Harrow School offers. With sports activities ranging from swimming in an indoor pool to rock climbing and Harrow Fives interhouse competitions, our sports and games certainly have that something special! And don’t forget about the Fourth Form Room! This is where Harry Potter scenes were filmed, and is the location of our English Masterclass, during which you will compete in your ‘houses’ to practise your English and learn about the fascinating history of Harrow School at the same time!

Harrow School Highlights
Founded in 1572 under a Royal Charter granted by Queen Elizabeth I, Harrow School has become one of the greatest schools in England, with over 400 years of history.

A 300-acre estate combining traditional with the modern day: use of the historical Fourth Form Room and Speech Room; state-of-the-art facilities including a sports center, tennis courts, indoor swimming pool, water polo, drama theater, athletics track, and 9-hole golf course – with breathtaking views over London.

Live like one of the famous Harrovians: the poet Lord Byron, former British Prime Minister Sir Winston

Churchill, the first Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, King Hussein of Jordan and many other elites around the world.
