More about studying in Thailand »
This Southeast Asian nation is popular with tourists, honeymooners, businessmen and virtually everyone else. Study Thai courses in Thailand and understand why the 'golden land' retains such mass appeal. The capital city of Bangkok is a treasure trove for history buffs, foodies, adventurers and nature enthusiasts. Marvel at the Emerald Buddha in Wat Phra Kaeo, dig into pad thai and green curry, swim with sharks at Siam Ocean World, and stroll the expansive gardens at Dusit Park. Then test your culinary skills in a Thai cooking class, watch a Thai kickboxing match, and hone your ability to properly meditate. It may be hard to leave the enchanting capital, but there is much more to Thailand than bustling Bangkok. In the far north, the historic city of Chiang Mai is packed with over 300 Buddhist temples, city walls and cultural festivals. Visit a nearby elephant sanctuary to get up close with these gentle giants and hike the trails in Doi Inthanon National Park, home to Thailand's highest mountain. Back near Bangkok, trek to the waterfalls of Khao Yai National Park and browse the produce at the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Of course, the highlight of Thailand is the multitude of islands and beaches to the south. Whether gracing the shores of popular Ko Samui, finding seclusion on Ko Pha-ngan, or partying in Phuket, the idyllic Thai beach atmosphere is second to none. Attend Thai school in Thailand and be a part of one of the most dynamic, exciting and beautiful countries in the world.
