German courses which fit your schedule
Maybe your work schedule only leaves the evenings free for classes? Or you’d like to come in the morning when the children are at school? FOKUS offers both possibilities in our Open Group Programme. These small and lively groups with 2-8 members meet 2 times a week and will get you speaking the German you need in your daily life.
The Standard Course focuses on learning and actively using language structures – this way the instruction is very much practice oriented. But what does this actually mean? Your teacher will assign you an active role while studying German and will draw you and your fellow students directly into his interactive instruction.
You feel comfortable with your written German but less confident when it comes to your speaking skills? Then this course fits perfectly to train your oral fluency for daily use.
In this course our qualified and highly motivated teachers put a specific focus on phonetics and oral fluency.
Do you want to improve your German knowledge rapidly and reach as many teaching goals as possible in almost no time at all? In this case we would like to recommend you our Premium Course. It differs from our other course options – Standard and Intensive Course – in so far as with 28 lessons per week the Premium Course gives far more opportunities for considering personal requests and demands.

Which course type is right for me?
Intensive Study: For adults who want to learn a language as quickly as possible for academic or professional reasons.
Test Preparation: For students who want to prepare for language proficiency tests.
Business: For business executives who want to study a language to be able to do business.
Junior: For children ages 8 to 12 and teenagers ages 13 to 18 who want to study a language in the summer.
How long should I study?
The minimum duration for a language course is usually two weeks, but students benefit the most starting from the 3rd and 4th weeks of their language course, after they get used to the new environment. By this time, the early distractions are over and the student has "settled in". The average student takes about 12 weeks of language studies abroad.
