Pre-intermediate Japanese courses in Kyoto are for students who can understand and communicate in Japanese. This course is ideal for students who can speak Japanese with confidence in the present, past and future simple tenses. It is for students who can perform tasks such as shopping, booking a hotel room, and starting a conversation in Japanese.
You won't get far in Japan without being able to speak the language, but using the special techniques our teachers have developed, you'll be surprised how easy it is to learn to speak Japanese, and you'll be fluent before you know it! Our Standard Course uses interesting and modern materials and activities to focus on improving your Japanese speaking ability in a way that gives you the flexibility to adapt to new situations, until one day you won't even need a teacher anymore!

The Japanese Plus Conversation Course offers the same 20 core classes as the Standard Japanese Course, plus 4 extra classes of conversational Japanese. These extra classes focus on some of the interesting aspects of conversational Japanese that it can be hard to cover in the standard classes, such as slang, dialects, specialized vocabulary, and more.
"General Japanese Course” is suitable for more serious stuedents, compared to "Practical Japanese Course". This is mainly designed for the students who aim to pass JLPT (Japanese language exam) or to move on higher education in Japan.
The Long Term General Japanese Course is for all level of students who wish to study and live in Japan for a long period. The curriculum is based on JLPT preparation.
Students take 15 hours of small group classes in one week. Classes have a maximum of 8 students, and the small size and friendly atmosphere helps students to progress quickly in skill and confidence.
