Spanish teacher training courses in Spain

Student Profile This preparation course for Spanish teachers is aimed at non-native students who already teach or want to start. They seek to perfect their mastery of Spanish, get to know the culture of the country more thoroughly, and update their teaching methods.

You will gain practical and theoretical tools to plan, develop, and evaluate effective and dynamic classes. Moreover, you will enhance your teaching skills and abilities in an interactive and international environment.

his course is specially designed for teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language or those interested in starting their career in this prosperous sector. This course provides you with an extensive ELE didactic material and everything you need to competently manage your future Spanish classes/teaching.

The teacher training course is a two week course with 20 lessons / week and it is offered not only for teachers with a proficiency level of Spanish but also for teachers with other levels of the language or students who want to become teachers. There are three options, depending on the participants’ needs: OPTION A: For teachers of primary or secondary school with an independent use of the language (B1- Beginner), who wish to improve their grammatical and cultural skills aiming at Spanish teaching.

25 hours per week. 5h per day, from Monday to Friday.

Didactics of Spanish Language and Methodology (5 hours). Aspects of spoken Spanish (5 hours) Fundamental problems of Spanish grammar (5 hours) Attendance to Spanish Language Courses (all levels) as a Visiting Professor.

The courses for ELE professors are specific courses for teaching Spanish, for native and non-native speakers. These courses are made for professional teachers who wish to perfect the Spanish language and at the same time work on the techniques, know the different manuals of ELE, create their own lesson plans, etc.

The object of this course is to bring teachers of Spanish as a second language (ELE) up-to-date with regard to the practical aspects of teaching, methodology, and the historical/social aspects of Spain. The offer includes specific grammar, the study and analysis of present day teaching methods, types of classes, the use of various teaching materials in the classroom and the classification and evaluation of students.
