More about studying in Lyon »
Lyon is located in east central France, and is one of the largest cities in France by population. Few cities boast as much visible history as Lyon: over two thousand years of history of visible traces have been left in the city's architecture--from Roman ruins to Renaissance palaces to modern day skyscrapers. Students interested in studying French courses in Lyon will enjoy the many different activities and adventures that this city has to offer. Students at a French school in Lyon will find some of the best restaurants in France with the exquisite national cuisine (and excellent French wines to pair with it). It is also only two hours from ski resorts, and three hours from some heavenly seaside towns and beaches. If you happen to be studying in Lyon during December, you can't miss the Festival of lights-- which highlights over one-hundred historic pieces of architecture in the city, by lighting them all up on the same night.
